L’idea di creare cappelli è sempre stata in me. Il nostro primo incontro è stato in una sartoria teatrale. Quando vedevo un cappello insolito mi sentivo spinta da una curiosità irrefrenabile. Dovevo indossarlo davanti allo specchio per vedere come l’espressione del volto si trasformava. Ho capito, da quel giorno, che quella sarebbe stata la mia strada.
/ The idea of making hats has always been inside me. The first time I sense my passion for hats has been in a theatrical tailor factory. Whenever I saw a strange hat I felt inspired by an uncontrollable curiosity. I had to wear this hat, facing a mirror to see how I seemed transformed and how my facial expressions changed. And then, I understood: that’s my own way!

Fonte di ispirazione per i miei cappelli sono la campagna, i paesaggi rurali, i profumi e i colori tipici della Toscana, mia terra di origine. La sua arte.
Recuperare il valore del tempo, permette di dialogare con le persone, per non perdere un po’ di quella bellezza, qualità e attenzione al dettaglio di ogni manufatto. Un cappello per ritrovare un po’ di calma in questa vita frenetica. Un cappello per trascendere l’esagerata velocità con cui cambiano le tendenze dell’industria della moda. Un cappello chi ama distinguersi con un proprio stile.
Di fatto, le mie creazioni non seguono le mode del momento, quelle che passano. Amo intraprendere un percorso indipendente e alternativo alle consuete logiche industriali del fashion system. Realizzare a mano manufatti/copricapi autentici rende protagoniste indiscusse le persone che li indossano.

Giving significance to the value of time allows me to have a dialogue with people, in order to nourish beauty, quality and attention to details of each artifact. An hat to find again a bit of calmness in this chaotic life. An hat to transcend the exaggerated speed of trends in fashion industry. An hat to distinguish yourself with your own style.
My creations are not influenced by mainstream fashion trends. I love to explore unique and alternative paths, not related to the fashion system logics. With my accessories and hats – created by hands – people rejoin the indisputable role of protagonist in their own life.
